How to reach us
Find out how you can reach the Island of Elba
By car with the ferry
Getting to the Island of Elba is now even easier! Motorways and motorways make it extremely easy to reach Piombino Marittima, the port of embarkation for the island, from all directions, where four shipping companies (Toremar, Moby Lines, Corsica/Elba Ferries and Blu Navy) have comfortable ferries that make up to 100 trips a day during the summer.
The approximately 10 kilometres separating the island from the mainland are covered in about an hour's sailing, reaching the ports of Portoferraio (the main one), Rio Marina and Cavo. Reservations are necessary, although not always indispensable. Alternatively, there is a fast hydrofoil connection, for passenger transport only, which reaches Portoferraio in just 40 minutes.
By Plane
